Copy Dockets
Docket associations are not copied to the new case record.
If the docket code has an automatic docket text rule set up on the Automatic Docket Text Association Rule form (CTRADOC), the rule does not apply when the docket is copied. This is in order to protect the existing docket text.
Select the Docket radio button to display all dockets for the case entered in the Copy From block. The following information displays for each docket:
Filing Date and Filing Time of the docket
Docket Code. To see a description of the docket code, click the arrow next to the Docket Code field to open the Docket Type Description window.

Considerations:
Filing party, consolidated case ID, consolidated sequence number, and event sequence number are not copied to the new case record.
If the docket code being copied is associated with a case status on the Case Status Rule form (CTRCSTS), the case status of the case being copied to is updated to match that of the case being copied from.
If the docket code being copied is associated with a final disposing case status, all open events are deleted from the case being copied to. If case status was:
Automatically created from such an event, it is updated when the event is deleted.
Changed manually on the Case Status Maintenance form (CDACSTS), it is not updated and you will see an alert informing you of this.
Copying docket codes from one case to another does not update party status even if the codes are part of a party status rule.
To return to the Copy From block to select another case and/or another party from which to copy a docket, select Previous from the Block menu after saving the current records.
To return to the Copy To block to enter a different case to copy to, select Clear Form from the File menu.
