Associate a Docket with Another Docket (CDQDASS)

1. Open the Docket Association form (CDQDASS). The following information displays based on previous docket entries:

• Docket code and docket code Description

• Filing Date

• Party type. This code indicates the role of the party in this case. The party name displays in the unlabeled field to the right.

• Text associated with the docket entry. To view the entire text entry, click in the Text field, then select Edit from the Edit menu.

2. Select the button indicating the type of docket association:

• No: The docket is not associated with the current docket. If you select this option, any previously associated dockets are no longer associated.

• Resultant: The docket results from the current docket on the Docket Association Entry form (CDADOCT) or the Event Outcome form (CSAEOUT).

• Caused: The docket caused the current docket on the Docket Association Entry form (CDADOCT) or the Event Outcome form (CSAEOUT).

3. When you've finished, save and close the Party Association form (CDQPASS).
