Fields for Sentence (CMADISP)
Sentence Area
Case ID
Initially lists the case ID entered at the top of the form. You can select a different case ID for the party ID entered at the top of the form.
Violation Code; Description
Initially lists violations associated with the case ID and party ID entered at the top of the form. If you select a different case ID on the Sentence tab, the field lists violations incurred by the party on that case.
Viol No (Violation Number)
Unique sequence number that ACS Contexte assigns to a violation for tracking purposes. Indicates the order of entry of a violation in the total number of violations filed for the current party.
Sentence
Code identifying the type of sentence entered for the violation. The description displays in the unlabeled field to the right.
Seq (Sequence)
A system-filled number that indicates the order in which the sentence was entered. Used to assign consecutive and concurrent sentences.
Length
Number indicating the length of the sentence. The time unit (hours, days, months, years) is selected and displayed in the unlabeled field to the right.
Suspended Length
The amount of the sentence that is suspended. The time unit (hours, days, months, years) is selected and displayed in the unlabeled field to the right.
Cons (Consecutive) and Conc (Concurrent)
Indicates the sequence number of the sentence with which the current sentence is to run consecutively or concurrently.
Served
Time served prior to sentencing. The time unit (hours, days, months, years) appears to the right.
Signed
Date judge signed the sentence. Cannot be a future date.
Start
Date the sentence begins.
Probation
Date probation starts.
Judge
Code identifying the judge who handed down the sentence. The judge's name appears to the right.
Completion
Date the sentence is finished.
Text
Lets you enter free-form text about the sentence.
Docket
Code identifying the docket to be recorded for the current sentence. If the current docket is sealed and you are not permitted to view sealed dockets, you will see *SEAL or ***SEALED DOCKET*** in place of the actual docket information.
Violation Area
Sel (Selection)
Check this box to select the violation to link it to a sentence.
