View Violation History

Use the Violation History window to view the history of violation changes/deletions. You cannot update any of the information.

To view violation history

1. When the Violation History window opens, the system displays the prior violation information, including:

• Viol No (Violation Number) indicating the order of entry of the changed or deleted violation in the total number of violations filed for the current party.

• Violation Code and its Description

• Citation Number

• Due Date

• Viol Date and Viol Time

• Filing Date and Filing Time

• DMV reporting indicator

• ID of the user who Changed or deleted the record

• Date the record was changed or deleted

• Code for the Reason the record was changed or deleted and the reason Desc (Description). If no reason code was entered at the time of the change/deletion, these fields are blank.

• Maint (Maintenance) indicator. "C" (Changed) or "D" (Deleted).

If necessary, you can narrow the display further by performing a query on any of the fields except the Viol No, violation Description, the DMV reporting indicator, and the change/delete reason Desc (Description).

2. To view the history of enhancements, select Enhancement History in the navigation frame. The Enhancement History window opens, listing the following information about prior enhancements:

• Enhancement Code and Description

• Disp (Disposition) Code and Disp (Disposition) Date

3. To view previous violation text, select Violation Text History in the navigation frame to open the Violation Text History window.

4. Select Close Window from the File menu to close either the Enhancement History window or the Violation Text History window and return to the Violation History window. Select Close Window again to return to the calling form.
