Date by which payment for the citation must be made or a court action must occur.

Appearance Time

Time of the payment/action.

BAC

Blood alcohol content of the defendant. Enter a decimal point followed by a maximum of 3 digits.

Birth Date

When the defendant was born.

Calendar Type

Calendar type for an event. This allows added events to appear on calendar reports.

Calculated Bail

Total amount of bail for the defendant. Bail is calculated automatically after you save a case, party and violation(s).

Case ID

ID of the case in the system.

Case Description

Description of the case. You can enter a description or you can accept the default which consists of a prefix and suffix defined on the Case Description Prefix/Suffix Rule form (CTRDESC).

If no prefix or suffix is set up for a court/location/case type in CTRDESC, no prefix or suffix appears as the default description.

Case Type

Code for the type of case. List available.

Case Weight

Indicates complexity of the case. 1 = least complex; 9 = most complex. The system defaults to 1.

CDL (Commercial Driver License)

Check to indicate the operator of the vehicle has a commercial driver license.

Citation Number

Citation number associated with the violation. Represents the actual ticket or citation issued by the law enforcement official. This field is not unique.

City

City information for the address. List available.

Clocked Speed

Alleged speed the vehicle was traveling at the time of the violation.

ComVeh

Check to indicate the vehicle associated with the citation was a commercial vehicle.

Conditions

Text describing road and weather conditions at the time of the violation.

Const/Maint Zone

Check to indicate the violation occurred in a construction or maintenance zone.

County

County of the address entered for the defendant.

Court

Code for the type of court. List available.

Dist. (Distribution) Agency

Agency that issued the citation. List available. More about distribution rules

Dist. (Distribution) Area

Area where the citation was issued. List available. More about distribution rules

Driver License # (Number)

Driver license number of the defendant.

Drug Type

Code for the type of drug associated with the violation and defendant.

Due Date

Date by which payment on the violation is due.

Email

Email address for the person receiving the citation.

Ethnicity

Code representing the national or cultural group of the defendant. List available.

Event

Code for the event. List available. If you enter an event on this form, case status may be automatically updated. More Information

Eye Color

Code for the eye color of the defendant. List available.

Feet

Height of the defendant in feet.

Filing Date, Filing Time

Filing date and time of the case. The system defaults to the current system date.

First Name

First name of the defendant. If an ID is entered which is already in the system, the first name is system-filled.

Hair Color

Code for the hair color of the defendant. List available.

HazMat

Check to indicate the vehicle was hauling hazardous materials.

Inchoate

Defines an offense to which guilt attaches even though the party charged with the offense may not have achieved the criminal purpose. The user can choose from: A (Attempt); C (Conspiracy); S (Solicitation).

Once you have saved the entry in the Inchoate field, you must use the Related Disposition form (CMADISP) to change it.

Inches

Height of the defendant in inches. Required if the Feet field is used.

Jurisdictional Area

Jurisdiction where the alleged violation occurred. List available.

Judge ID

ID of the judge assigned to hear the automatically created event. Search

Judge Party

Code for the party type of the judge assigned to hear the automatically created event. List available.

The security level defined for the party type on the Party Type Code Rules form (CTRPTYP) is automatically associated with the party although it doesn't display on the form.

Last Name

Last name of the defendant. If an ID is entered which is already in the system, the last name is system-filled on entry of the party ID.

License Class

Code for the license class of the driver license held by the defendant. List available.

License Plate

Plate number of the vehicle driven by the defendant at the time of the violation. See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

License Plate Expire

Date the license plate is due to expire.

License Plate Issue

Date the license plate was issued.

License Restriction

Code for any restriction on the defendant's driver license. List available.

License St/Prov (State/Province)

State or province which issued the defendant's driver license. List available.

Location

Text describing the location of the alleged violation.

Location Code

Code for the government building where the violation is filed. List available.

Meter #

Parking meter number.

Middle Name

Middle name of the defendant. If an ID is entered which is already in the system, the middle name is system-filled on entry of the party ID.

Nation

Nation of the address entered for the defendant.

Officer ID

ID of the law enforcement officer or other official who issued the violation. Search

Officer Party

Code for the party type of the law enforcement officer or other official issuing the violation.

Physical Information

Text describing the physical condition of the defendant at the time of the violation.

Posted Speed

Speed posted at the location of the alleged violation.

Prefix

Prefix preferred by the defendant.

Race

Code representing the race of the defendant.

Radar

Select to indicate that radar was used to clock the defendant's alleged speed.

Recorded Weight

Actual weight of the vehicle associated with the violation.

Room Code

Code of the room in which the event will take place. List available.

Safety Belt

Check to indicate that the defendant was wearing a seat belt.

Safety Zone

Check to indicate the violation occurred in a safety zone.

Security

Case security level. 1 = lowest security and 9 = highest security.

Sex

Sex of the defendant. F = Female; M = Male. Leave blank if unknown.

SSN (Social Security Number)

Social security number of the defendant. If you do not have access to view the SSN/SIN/TFN information as defined in the Confidential Address and Person Security Control form (COACONF), the SSN/SIN/TFN field displays nine asterisks (*********) and you cannot update the field. For more information about COACONF, refer to the ACS Contexte Setup Manual.

Suffix

Suffix preferred by the defendant.

Time

Filing time. The system defaults to the current system time.

Title Number

Number of the title for the vehicle driven by the defendant at the time of the alleged violation. See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Trial Type Code

Code for the type of trial requested for the case. List available.

Unsigned

Check to indicate the citation was not signed by the defendant.

Vehicle Color

Color of the vehicle driven by the defendant at the time of the alleged violation. List available. See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Vehicle End Date

Last date of ownership of the vehicle.

Vehicle License St (State)

State in which the vehicle driven by the defendant is registered. List available. See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Vehicle Make

Code for the make of the vehicle driven by the defendant at the time of the alleged violation. List available. See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Vehicle Model

Text indicating the model of the vehicle driven by the defendant at the time of the alleged violation. See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Vehicle Owner

Owner of the make of the vehicle driven by the defendant at the time of the alleged violation. Search See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Vehicle Type

Text indicating the kind of vehicle driven by the defendant at the time of the alleged violation (for example, pickup, mini van, etc.). See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Vehicle VIN (Vehicle Identification
Number)

Optional number to identify the vehicle in the system. It can be the manufacturers VIN or a number assigned manually by your court; in either case, it must already be entered in the system before you can enter it here. You can also enter NEXT for a new system-generated VIN or leave the field blank.

Select List Values in the navigation frame to open the Vehicle Query form (CPIAUTO) to search for a vehicle. You can select Vehicle Info (CPAAUTO) in the navigation frame to enter a vehicle. See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Vehicle Year

Year of the vehicle driven by the defendant at the time of the alleged violation See Vehicle Information at the end of this list.

Violation

Code for the type of violation. List available.

If you enter a violation date before entering a violation code, the list of values (LOV) displays only the codes active as of that date. If you do not enter a violation date, then the LOV displays codes active as of the system date.

Violation City

City where the violation occurred.

Violation County

County where the violation occurred.

Violation Date,
Violation Time

Date and time that the alleged violation occurred.

Violation Filing Date, Violation Filing Time

Date and time that the violation was filed. This cannot be earlier than the case filing date and time.

Violation Level

Specifies severity of the violation (for example, F3 for 3rd degree felony). If a default value was added on the Quick Citation Definition Entry form (CTRQMVD), it defaults into this field; otherwise, the default value from the Charge Code Validation form (CTVCHRG) displays. In either case, you can change the level here. List available.

Once you have saved the violation level, you must use the Related Disposition form (CMADISP) to change it.

Violation State

State where the violation occurred.

Violation Text

Free-form text related to the violation. Maximum: 78 characters.

Violation ZIP

ZIP code where the violation occurred.

Weight, Lbs

Weight in pounds of the defendant.

Weight Limit

Legal weight limit of the vehicle associated with the violation.

Zip Code

ZIP Code for the address. List available. More about zip code entry
