Fields for Quick Citation Entry (CVAQMVI)
The Quick Citation Entry form (CVAQMVI) is custom-designed to include only the fields that your jurisdiction needs for a particular type of citation or violation. The definitions below include all possible fields listed in alphabetical order. Note that the person responsible for setting up your system may have assigned different names to some or all of these fields.
If a list is available for a field or another form can be called to perform a search, the List Values option is enabled in the navigation frame.
If you enter a person ID that already exists
in the system and that already has some person information entered for
it, that information will automatically display here. In addition, you
will not be able to enter other person information here. When you try
to do so, you receive a message in the hint text that the field is protected
against update even though nothing is displayed in the field. When this
happens, you can go to the PersonOrganization Maintenance form (CPAIDEN)
to enter the information. Once saved, it will display on other forms in
the system, including this one.

Vehicle Information
If the owner ID is not associated with any vehicle on the Person/Vehicle form (CPAAUTO), you can enter that information here. It will then appear on the Person/Vehicle form (CPAAUTO) and on the Vehicle Query form (CPIAUTO).
If you enter an owner ID for whom vehicle information has been entered, the system automatically fills the vehicle information fields with data from the first vehicle record on the Person/Vehicle form (CPAAUTO). You cannot change this information on the Quick Citation Entry form (CVAQMVI). Therefore, it is advised that you fill in vehicle information from the violation, then move to the owner field and enter the owner ID. If the vehicle has not been previously entered into the system, it now will be; if it has been entered, nothing more will happen.
You can enter one piece of information specific
to the vehicle (for example, the license plate number), then Tab to another
field. If the vehicle is already entered in the system, the system will
fill the other vehicle information fields with available data. However,
if you have additional data for that vehicle, you must go to the Person/Vehicle
form (CPAAUTO) and update the record before entering any piece
of vehicle information on the Quick Citation Entry form (CVAQMVI).
