There are two tabs on the DMS Window. The Images tab displays an hierarchical listing of attached content files and their host record(s). It may or may not include DMS buttons depending on how your system is set up.

The following fields are found on the Detail tab.

Content Type

Code indicating the type of content. The description appears in the unlabeled field to the right. These codes are defined on the Document Management System Control form (CEACTRL).

Security

The default security level for the content type as assigned on the Document Management System Control form (CEACTRL). You can change the security level, but the system does not allow it to be lower than the case security level for content attached to case or docket records.

Pages

Number of pages in a document that was scanned in a batch. This field is not used in ad hoc imaging.

Status

The status of a document that was scanned in a batch. This field is not used in ad hoc imaging.

Image Desc (Description)

For ad hoc imaging, you can enter any description in this field.

Document ID

ID number assigned by the system to the content file. The format of the number depends on whether ad hoc or batch imaging is used. In ad hoc imaging, the ID number begins with an "A."
