Query on ACS Contexte ODP Variables (CTRANAM)
Use the Variable Definition Maintenance form (CTRANAM) to query on all the ACS Contexte variables available for On-Demand Print (ODP) and Extended Case Information (ECI) letter templates. If for some reason you need to create additional ACS Contexte variables, you can do so using this form. Please see the ACS Contexte Technical Reference Manual and the ACS Contexte Setup Manual for more information.
For a list of the On-Demand Print (ODP) variables
that we ship with ACS Contexte, see the On-Demand Print (ODP) Variables
table in chapter 5 of the ACS Contexte Setup Manual. Note that
these variables will not work in ECI letters. For a list the ECI variables
that we ship with ACS Contexte, see the ACS Extended Case Information
Setup and Reports Manual. Note that these variables will not work
in ODP letters.
To query on ACS Contexte variables
Open the Variable Definition Rule Maintenance form (CTRANAM).
From the Query menu, select Enter.
If necessary, enter information to narrow the search:
name of the base ACS Contexte Table that the variable points to
Variable Name
Type of Field that the variable points to (C for concatenated; S for single; R for Repeating)
variable Description
From the Query menu, select Execute.
When you are finished querying on ACS Contexte variables, Exit the Variable Definition Maintenance form (CTRANAM).
If you do create additional variables, do
not include the word "from" in comments for an ODP variable.
If you do, users will get an error on the Letter Merge form (CLALMRG)
telling them to be sure the variable name is set up correctly.
