View ACS Contexte Application Manuals in Electronic Format
The Bookshelf feature lets you view the manuals for ACS Contexte applications on your computer screen in .pdf (portable document format). When you open manuals through Bookshelf, they appear in Adobe Acrobat Reader, where you can view, print, and search through the contents as desired.
As part of the ACS Contexte installation or upgrade, your database or system administrator sets Bookshelf to display the .pdf versions of your Contexte manuals. If you are unable to access manuals in Bookshelf, contact your system administrator or see the "System Basics" chapter in your Contexte setup manual for further instructions .
Select ACS Bookshelf from the Help menu. Acrobat Reader opens and displays a list of ACS applications in the left pane.
Click the bookmark icon (triangle or plus sign) next to the application whose manual you want to view. Reader displays a list of the product's manuals.
Click the manual whose contents you want to view. A Contents page for the manual appears on your right.
Click the desired section or chapter in the table of contents. Reader displays the associated information.
Use the arrow buttons on the toolbar or the links in the left pane to move through the manual as desired. You can also open the index for the manual and click on an index entry to be taken to the content associated with that entry. Or click Find in the Reader toolbar, enter the text that you want to find, and click Find. Reader locates the first occurrence of the text that you entered.
