Fields for Case Copy (CDACCOP)


Copy To block

Case ID

ID of the case to which you are copying. The description appears to the right.

Party

Code for the party type to which you want to copy a violation. The name of the party matching that type in this case appears to the right.

Docket Filing Date

Date for an optional docket filed with the case copy.

Docket

Optional docket code. The description of the docket code appears to the right.

Copy From block

Case ID

ID of the case from which you are copying. The description appears to the right.

Party

Code for the party type from which you want to copy a violation. The name of the party matching that type in this case appears to the right.

Selection block

Copy Case Related DMS Records

Check to copy content files (for example, text, picture, sound, or movie files) attached to the case from which you are copying.

Notes

Check to include notes on the case from which you are copying; it defaults as checked. For the Docket and Violation options, only case notes are copied. For the Parties option, both case and case-party notes are copied for selected parties. For the Copy All selection, the checkbox is disabled and all case and case-party notes are copied.

Check to indicate what you are copying from one case and party to another.

Buttons and their associated fields

Copy All

Check to copy all information that copies when you select the individual Docket, Party, or Violation buttons. Using Copy All does not allow you to select individuals dockets, parties, or violations for copying. Docket

Check to see all dockets for the case from which you are copying.

Copy, Copy Text, Copy DMS

Check to indicate which docket and text you want to copy and whether you want to copy content files (for example, text, picture, sound, or movie files) attached to the docket.

Filing Date, Filing Time

Filing date and time of the original docket

Docket Code

Code for the docket.

Filing Party, Name

ID of the party who filed the original docket and that party's name.

Text

Text associated with the docket.

Party

Check to see all parties on the case from which you are copying.

Copy

Check to indicate which party you want to copy.

Party Type, Party ID

Code for the party type (role of the party in this case) and the party's ID.

Sec

Security level of the party. 1 = lowest; 9 = highest.

Name

Name of the party.

Address Type, Address Seq (Sequence)

Code for the type of address available for the party and the sequence number (order of entry of the address within that type).

End Date

If applicable, the date the party was removed from the case.

Violation

Check to see all violations on the case from which you are copying.

Copy, Copy Text

Check to indicate which violation you want to copy and whether you also want to copy its accompanying text.

Copy Cause, Copy Text

Check to indicate if you want to copy the probable cause and whether you also want to copy its accompanying text.

No (Number)

Violation number. This indicates the order of entry of the violation within all violations incurred by the party.

Code, Description

Code for the violation and its description.

Violation Date

Date of the violation.

Enh (Enhancements)

If checked, indicates enhancements exist on the violation.
