More About Docket Changes/Deletions and Case/Party Status
Case Status
Docket codes can be associated with a case status and a date range on the Case Status Rule form (CTRCSTS) to create a rule that updates case status automatically when the docket code is entered. If you change one of these codes, case status is changed unless the status was previously changed manually on the Case Status Maintenance form (CDACSTS). If this is the case, status remains the same and you see an alert informing you of this.
If you delete a docket code, any case status resulting from previously applying a case status rule is deleted and case status reverts to what existed before the application of the rule. If the case status was established manually on CDACSTS, it is not deleted and you see an alert informing you of this.
For more information about the Case Status
Rule form (CTRCSTS), see the ACS Contexte Setup Manual.
Party Status
Docket codes can be associated with a party status and a date range on the Party Status Rule form (CTRPSTS) to create a rule that updates party status automatically when the docket code is entered. If you change one of these codes, party status is changed unless the status was previously changed manually on the Party Status Maintenance (CDAPSTS). If this is the case, status remains the same and you see an alert informing you of this.
If you delete a docket code, any party status resulting from previously applying a party status rule is deleted and party status reverts to what existed before the application of the rule. If the party status was established manually on CDAPSTS, it is not deleted and you see an alert informing you of this.

Rule form (CTRPSTS), see the ACS Contexte Setup Manual.
