When cases originate in another jurisdiction or from another agency, you may want to assign another case ID for your jurisdiction. You can do this at the time of initial filing on the Case Initiation Maintenance form (CMAINIT) or you can do it later using the Case ID Cross Reference form (CDACREF). In addition, you can inquire on these cases and their scheduled events using the Cross Reference Case ID Query form (CDICREF).
