Inquire on Cross-Referenced Cases (CDICREF)

Overview

Use the Cross Reference Case ID Query form (CDICREF) to query on the court schedule of cross-referenced cases cases using an agency case number, a citation number, or other cross-reference ID.

To inquire on cross-referenced cases

1. Open the Cross Reference Case ID Query form (CDICREF). The form opens in query mode.

2. Enter or select the desired criteria:

• Case ID. The description displays in the field to the right.

• Cross Ref ID of the case on which you are querying.

• Code representing a non-paper Event scheduled for the case.

• Codes representing the Room and Location (government building) where the event is scheduled to occur.

• Date and Time of the event.

3. From the Block menu, select Next to execute the query and move to the Case Information tab to view the following information.

• X-Ref Case ID. The cross reference ID of a case.

• Case ID and Description

4. To view non-paper events for a case, click on the Event tab to view the following information

• X-Ref Case ID. The cross reference ID of a case.

• Case ID

• Code representing the event and the Event Description.

• Date and Time of the event.

• Codes representing the Room and Location (government building) where the event is scheduled to occur.

5. To perform additional related tasks, select the appropriate option in the navigation frame.

6. When you've finished, Exit the Cross Reference Case ID Query form (CDICREF).
