Change Docket Filing Date or Time
You can change the filing date or time of a docket on the Docket Association Entry form (CDADOCT) and it can be a date or time earlier than the case initiation date or time. You must enter a reason code to save your changes.
Docket codes can be assigned an effective
date range on the Docket Type Code Rules form (CTRDTYP). The filing date
cannot fall outside the effective date range. For more information, see
the ACS Contexte Setup manual.
If you change a filing date or time on a docket associated with a case status or a party status, the effective date of the status changes. The changed effective date displays on the Case Status Maintenance form (CDACSTS) for case status and on the Party Status Maintenance form (CDAPSTS) for party status.
Further, the age of a case may be affected if the case status code is defined on the Case Status Code Rule form (CTRCSCR) as affecting case aging. For more information on CTRCSCR, see the ACS Contexte Setup Manual.
You can view the history of changes to the filing date or time on the Docket Change/Delete History Query form (CDIHDOC).
