Use the Traffic Detail tab of the Case Initiation Maintenance form (CMAINIT) to enter details for traffic violations. The Traffic Detail tab consists of a general area in which to enter a Party Type and two sub-tabs: Incident and Vehicle.

If your jurisdiction uses the Traffic component of ACS Contexte, you can also enter traffic citations on the Quick Citation Entry form (CVAQMVI) and parking citations on the Parking Ticket Entry form (CVAPARK).

If your jurisdiction associates docket codes with case types on the Case Type/Docket Type Rules form (CTRCSDK), the docket codes will not appear on the Docket Association Entry form (CDADOCT) for cases entered on either CVAPARK or CVAQMVI. For docket codes associated with case types to appear on CDADOCT, you must enter the ticket information on the Traffic Details tab of the CMAINIT. ACS Contexte adds the dockets to the Short Docket tab on CMAINIT. After the dockets are saved on the Short Docket tab, they show on CDADOCT.
