Approve Letters Printed through Letter Generation (CLAREVW)
Use the Paper Event/Docketing Approval form (CLAREVW) to approve the letters, notices, and other documents printed through the Letter Generation feature. When you approve a letter, the system automatically adds a docket to the associated case indicating that the letter has been sent (provided that the necessary rules have been defined). If necessary, you can also select a letter for reprinting.
To approve letters
Open the Paper Event/Docketing Approval form (CLAREVW). ACS Contexte displays the following information for the paper/service events:
Case ID on which the event was entered
Event Code and Description
the event's Projected Date
the expected Return Date for a service event, which you can change if necessary (to the current date or a future date)
Letter Code and Description for the letters generated for the current case
the date each letter was Initiated on CLALMRG and the date it was Printed on GJAPCTL
the number of Days the letter is to be held
the ID of the letter's Recipient
If necessary, you can limit the display of events by querying on Case ID, Event Code, and/or Projected Date.
To verify the event printed, enter Y in the Verify field. ACS Contexte then updates the case's docket to indicate the letter has been sent. (Select Verify All in the navigation frame to verify all the events; once all the events are selected, you can deselect individual ones by removing the Y.)
If the docket code is associated with
a case status on the Case Status Rule form (CTRCSTS), case status is automatically
updated. For more information about CTRCSTS, see the ACS Contexte Setup
Manual.
To select an event for reprinting, enter an R in the Verify field. ACS Contexte redisplays the event on the Paper Event/Letter Generation form (CLAINIT) so you can reprint it.
Save.
When finished approving letters, Exit the Paper Event/Docketing Approval form (CLAREVW).
