Entering a Traffic Case

To enter traffic cases in ACS Contexte, you can choose from three different forms depending on the type of case you are entering. The first two forms listed are unique to the Traffic module; the last form functions in all ACS Contexte modules (Civil, Criminal, Juvenile, and Traffic).

• The Quick Citation Entry form (CVAQMVI) is designed for high-volume traffic courts that enter several cases of a similar type in a day. This form is custom-designed by your court to display just the fields your jurisdiction needs for entering violations quickly.

• The Parking Ticket Entry form (CVAPARK) is designed specifically for entering parking violations.

• The Case Initiation Maintenance form (CMAINIT) allows you to file a case and enter parties, party demographics, violations, short dockets, limited events, and traffic details all in one place. You might find this form useful for more detailed traffic cases (for example, cases involving felony violations and sentences).
