Use the Supervisor Event Change form (CSARSCH) to reschedule open scheduled events, or to delete open scheduled events. If an event encompasses more than one day, you must reschedule each day individually. More Details

Generate/DRAW32.gif When you reschedule an event, ACS Contexte executes any rules defined for the event on the Event Type Code Rules form (CTREVNT) and the Event Rules form (CTRERUL).  For more about CTREVNT and CTRERUL, see the ACS Contexte Setup Manual.

Rules can be defined for each court, location, and case type combination. For more information, see the ACS Contexte Setup Manual.

To reschedule an event

  1. Open the Supervisor Event Change form (CSARSCH). The form opens in query mode.

  2. To narrow your search, enter or select the desired criteria:

  3. - Case ID search

    - Judge ID

    - Event

    - Scheduled date

    - Trial Type

    - Room

    - Cal (Calendar) Type

    - Locn (Location)

  4. From the Query menu, select Execute. ACS Contexte displays the events meeting your criteria. You can scroll through multiple events by selecting Next from the Record menu or by using the up/down scroll keys.

  5. Generate/DRAW3.gif To view minutes associated with an event, select the Minutes Query (CDIMINU) option in the navigation frame. This option is enabled only for scheduled events with minutes.

  6. Change the necessary information:

  7. To reschedule the event in spite of scheduling conflicts, enter C in the Confirm field. If you do not want to override scheduling conflicts, leave this field blank.

  8. To delete an event, select Remove from the Record menu and select Yes for the alert message that displays.

  9. Only open scheduled events are eligible for deletion.

  10. To add a party to the event, select Next from the Block menu and do the following:

    1. Select Next or Insert from the Record menu.

    2. Enter the Party Type.

    3. Enter or search for a Party ID. (You can only add parties who are already in the system.)

    4. The Security level defined for the party type on the Party Type Code Rules form (CTRPTYP) defaults into the field, but you can change it. 1 = lowest security; 9 = highest security.

    5. If the party needs an interpreter, enter the Lang (Language) code.

  11. To delete a party for the event, select Next from the Block menu and do the following:

    1. Select the party you want to delete.

    2. Select Remove from the Record menu.

Any party can be deleted, including those entered on the case as well as those entered only on events.

  12. To view associations among parties, select Party Associations in the navigation frame. If no associations exist, the option remains unavailable.

  13. Save. If you left the Confirm field blank, ACS Contexte checks for scheduling conflicts. If it doesn't find any, it reschedules the event; if it does find a conflict, an Auto Hint message alerts you to the type of conflict, and your changes are not saved. Tips for resolving conflicts

  14. When you've finished, Exit the Supervisor Event Change form (CSARSCH).
