File Cases Quickly (CDAQCAS)
Use the Quick Case Creation form (CDAQCAS) for mass entry of cases and application of debit account money to fees generated during case filing. This form is custom-designed using the Quick Case Creation Definition Rule form (CTRQCAS) to include only the fields your jurisdiction needs for quick case entry. (For more information on CTRQCAS, see the ACS Contexte Setup Manual.)

If your jurisdiction uses the automatic case
status update feature, a status may be assigned automatically when a case
is initially filed. The status is assigned only if no other action is
taken affecting case status. For example, if you enter an event on this
form, case status may be automatically updated based on rules set up connecting
the event and a case status. More Information

Enter the Location Code or select it from the list.
Enter the Form Layout Code or select it from the list.
From the Block menu, select Next. The fields associated with the form layout code appear.

To set defaults for the session that you're working in:
Enter the desired information on the main form. You cannot enter default information on the Additional Party Entry or Docket Entry windows.
Select Set Defaults in the navigation frame. The defaults are entered for all cases for the current session (a session ends when you Exit or Clear Form). If necessary, you can override a default and enter a different value.
When you navigate past the last field on the form, the Additional Party Entry window opens. You can also open it by selecting it in the navigation frame. For more information about parties, click here.
When you close the Additional Party Entry window, the Docket Entry window opens. You can also open it by selecting it in the navigation frame.
After closing the Docket Entry window, Save on the Quick Case Creation form (CDAQCAS). This saves information entered on the Additional Party Entry and Docket Entry windows, as well as what was entered on CDAQCAS.
If you Save before opening either window,
you will see alerts advising you that you have not entered information
on the windows and giving you the option of saving anyway.
To perform other related tasks, select the desired option in the navigation frame.
When you've finished, Exit the Quick Case Creation form (CDAQCAS).
