You can use the Case Initiation Maintenance form (CMAINIT) to:

To query on or change existing cases

  1. Open the Case Initiation Maintenance form (CMAINIT).

  2. From the Query menu, select Enter.

  3. To limit your search, enter or select the appropriate information:

  5. From the Query menu, select Execute. If your query returns more than one case, you can move through them by using the Up and Down arrow keys.

  6. Add or change information in any field in the top of the form except Court Type, Location, Case Type, and Case ID.

  7. Generate/DRAW22.gif You can change a case's ID, court type, location, or type on the Case Information Update form (CDACASU).

  8. If the Image check box is selected for an existing case entry, it indicates one or more content files are attached. Content files can be any electronic file that can be maintained through your third party document management system (DMS). To learn how to perform any of the following actions on an attached content file, click the appropriate link.

  9. To change or view case information entered for CaseStats reporting, select CaseStats Options in the navigation frame.

  10. To query on or change other case information, select the appropriate tab:
